Engagement

Rob & Rhona got engaged in March 2011 on Rhona's surprise birthday weekend away in Windsor. They enjoyed a glorious weekend of sunshine although it was pretty windy upstairs on the open top bus tour! It was after a walk around the castle and grounds hunting for royalty (our best spot was a corgi) that Rob found a suitable place to stop and pop the question. He hoped for a simple "Yes" as an answer but was interrupted before he began and what should have been a romantic moment turned cheesy:

Rhona: So what shall we do for the rest of the afternoon?

Rob: I wasn't thinking so much about this afternoon, I was thinking about the rest of our lives. Will you do me the honour of marrying me?

Rhona (streaming with tears): Is this it? Is this really it?? Is there a ring???

Luckily there was.

As some of you are already aware, Rob & Rhona then went on to have a party to celebrate.
